As winter settled over our hometowns, our girls' trip took a detour from the traditional December chill. Join us as we break the winter stereotypes, swap snowflakes for palm trees, and share the sun-kissed memories from our tropical escape. December, it turns out, is the perfect time for a girls' trip that's anything but ordinary.
Being a high-energy person, adjusting to a new time zone is usually a breeze for me. However, my recent journey from Los Angeles to London has me grappling with the notorious jet lag. In this travel diary entry, I share my struggle and the one simple trick I've used to fight jet lag effectively.

I flew from Los Angeles into Morocco’s largest city, Casablanca, and my first week in Morocco was amazing, but my last-minute decision to travel to le Sud du Maroc (the South of Morocco) took my visit to this deeply cultured country to the NEXT LEVEL!
It’s easier to make friends when you’re traveling alone because, in a way, you’re forced to! You’re a human, your natural instinct is to interact with other humans. When you travel somewhere with people you already know, you have your human(s) to interact with, you don’t need to interact with anyone new. When you’re traveling alone, the only way you’re going to interact with another human (in-person) is by interacting with someone new.

Today, I took about a 30-minute walk to the coast, and stood mesmerized by the grandiose of one of the most beautiful religious buildings in the world, as the raging waters of the Atlantic hit the wall beneath my feet.
I’ve decided I no longer want to diminish myself to make others feel comfortable.
I snuck out of my house today. Being that I’m grown and untethered, I didn’t have to sneak, but I chose to, in order to avoid any questions or commentary.
